The official Girlguiding Remembrance woven badge for 2022 has been created in partnership with the Royal British Legion. This year as we pause to remember, we reflect on the story of the cotton reel appeal - an impressive story about Girlguiding members who joined together to help soldiers during the war.
How could something as small as a cotton reel help the RAF? How many cotton reels do you think our members collected? Teamwork and community are at the heart of Girlguiding and at the heart of this story - we hope you'll wear your badge with pride this year.
50% of the profits from the sale of this product will be paid to The Royal British Legion Trading Limited which gives its taxable profits to The Royal British Legion (Charity no. 219279) and Poppy Scotland (Scottish Charity no. SC014096). The other 50% of the profits will go to Girlguiding (Charity no. 306016).
