Girls Matter
6051

Description

Parliament and politics are words which can be pretty hard to engage young people with - but we all have the right to have our voices heard and to shape the society that we want to live in so how can we support our members to be active citizens

This resource is packed full of fun and interactive activities for Rainbows, Brownies, Guides and members of The Senior Section which will get them thinking about how the UK Parliament, the government, and politics impacts their lives.

Girls of all ages will develop their understanding of democracy and the part they can play in the UK’s decision-making processes whilst building crucial skills like speaking in front of others and working in a team.

Girls Matter will encourage girls to get vocal about issues and make their voices heard on the things they care about by those with the power to effect change.
